    How to make authentic Sichuan spicy chili oil recipe? Today I’m going to reveal Sichuan Chef’s secret recipes!



    1/4 of a cup of red pepper flakes

    1/2 of a cup of vegetable oil
    1 raw cinnamon
    1 tablespoon of star anise
    1 tablespoon of Sichuan pepper corns
    3 bay leaves

    Today I’m going to share with you this super awesome Bourbon chicken recipe. This dish was invented by a Chinese Chef who works on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, Louisiana. Check out this video now!



    3 chicken thighs
    3 slices of ginger
    3 cloves of garlic


    4 tablespoons of Bourbon
    2 tablespoons of soy sauce
    A pinch of salt
    A pinch of white pepper


    2 tablespoons of Bourbon
    3 tablespoons of soy sauce
    6 tablespoons of apple juice
    1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
    1 tablespoon of ketchup
    2 tablespoons of brown sugar
    A dash of sesame oil
    A pinch of red pepper flakes


    First, debone the chicken thighs. And remove the skin. Slice the chicken into an even layer.


    Season the chicken with 4 tablespoons of Bourbon, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, a pinch of salt, and a pinch of white pepper. Mix well. Marinate for 30 minutes.


    To make the sauce, mix in 2 tablespoons of Bourbon, 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, 6 tablespoons of apple juice, 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, 1 tablespoon of ketchup, 2 tablespoons of brown sugar, a dash of sesame oil, a pinch of red pepper flakes.


    In a hot pan, heat up 3 tablespoons of oil over high heat, add 3 slices of ginger and 3 cloves of garlic. Then the chicken pieces and cook each side for about 2 minutes until golden. Flip the chicken again. Pour in the sauce. Close the lid and cook for another 2 minutes. Turn the chicken, close the lid, and cook for again 3 minutes. Turn the chicken one more time and cook until completely cooked, about 3 minutes. Reduce the sauce over high heat.


    Cut the chicken into small pieces. You can serve the chicken over rice. And remember to pour in the sauce! Enjoy!
